On Our Increasing Reliance on the Postal Service
Posted in Uncategorized at 3:49 am | Comments Off

The sweet irony these days is that as our dependence on the web has increased, so to has our dependence on the postal network. So what’s happened to cause this? It’s because a growing number of sales being conducted on the likes of eBay and other trading sites, and that translates to sending products through the postal service. So when you go to your post office, it’s common to see a long queue of people with bags full of parcels to send out.

But with this dependence on the Royal Mail, it’s not long before we realise that it’s not constantly a service that can be completely relied on. Should you demand full-blown assurance that your package will arrive and be in the recipient’s hands later today, I suggest one use a specialist courier company. A courier organization’s reputation is built on assurances and guarantees, and sure enough there are many documents and products that absolutely have to get there on time, and be received by the right individual.

To locate a company like this in your area, use a search engine and type in keyphrases like International Courier to view a listing of firms who offer a messenger service. Call a few of these companies and determine their rates, their assurances, whether your packages will be insured or not, and how long each company has been operating.
